Last week was a very special week for me as I turned 40 years young.
Yes, the BIG 40 … the big 40+ body transformation.
Unfortunately, many people equate reaching 40 years of age as some dreaded milestone.
The time of life when your body starts to suffer from aching joints, excess weight problems, hormonal imbalances, gut issues, and many other health concerns.
In fact, for many, it can seem like a never-ending plethora of health issues that come knocking at their door and which they feel they have limited ability to defend themselves against.
Yes, they can take medications for joint problems, blood sugar issues, gut problems, hormonal imbalances, and so on, but usually, it means a degrading of their physical health and quality of life as medications typically come with undesirable side effects.
Now when I was suffering serious health issues back a number of years ago now I came across the low fat, raw food diet, which is a way of eating based on eating lots of fruits and vegetables.
Little did I know at the time how this change in my nutrition would have such a huge impact upon not just my physical health but also my quality of life as well.
Fast forward to today and at the age of now, 40 years young I feel fantastic and so grateful for the diet and lifestyle changes that I have made.
