If you have hypothyroidism then you will no doubt be aware of the many different signs of hypothyroidism or hypothyroid symptoms you can experience like brittle hair and nails, loss of libido, increased sensitivity to the cold, and many more …
For women with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, one of the biggest and worst symptoms to have to deal with for most of them is fatigue.
In fact, to simply call it fatigue is not to do it justice, more like a total energy drain, where it can be difficult to carry out everyday activities and concentrate.
To deal with this condition, traditional hypothyroidism treatment focuses on giving the person hypothyroidism medication and using this to try and balance the
body’s thyroid hormone levels.
Hypothyroidism TSH levels, for example, will initially be high when your thyroid is unable to produce enough hormones, and taking the thyroid hormone T4 will help correct this issue.
Unfortunately, like many things in life, it’s most often not that simple and many other factors can come into play that can affect your health even when your thyroid hormone levels are supposedly showing as normal on blood tests.
Yes, even with good blood test results or what is called subclinical hypothyroidism where your levels may be slightly above the norm you can still suffer from hypothyroidism symptoms.
It is also worth noting that the majority of women who suffer from hypothyroidism will also suffer from the autoimmune Hashimoto’s disease as well.
So what can you do beyond just taking hypothyroidism medication which often fails to give full relief for many women suffering from hypothyroidism and does not address the problem of Hashimoto’s autoimmune disease?
Well, this is exactly what I am going to talk about in my video today.
