The first thing that you might not know about excess belly fat is that it’s unhealthy for you.

Yes, belly fat is not a healthy type of fat. You see, the excess fat that you carry around your waste area is called visceral fat. It’s an unhealthy type of fat that creates iinflammation in your body.

Inflammation is one of the root causes of many diseases.

The extra belly fat that many people carry can start contributing to pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, estrogen dominance and other hormonal imbalances, as well as certain types of cancer.

The second thing you might now know about belly fat is that ab exercises alone aren’t going to help you shift it.

Oh, yes, you can do abdominal crunches all day long without seeing any result.

This is because your body can’t just lose belly fat alone, you need to have a strategy in place that will help you burn fat in your whole body and also create a plan that will help you define your abs more.

The third thing you might not know about belly fat is that there aren’t any specific individual foods or supplements that you can take to help you lose the fat in your belly.

      It’s beneficial for hormones and health, but you don’t need to do it every day and still need to catch up with calories for maintenance.
