      Hi Hilde,

      Sure, some people cannot do vigorous exercise due to their health. When I was healing my adrenals, I could hardly exercise. 15 mins of gentle aerobics was my limit. I would also walk, hike and do gentle yoga or pilates. As my health was restoring, I was able to start doing more and eventually get a level where daily vigorous exercise is something that I do 5-6 days a week.

      What is important is to start doing what you can and then gradually start increasing the level of activity, if your health allows you to. If not, then focusing on maintaining what you can do.

    We get our calcium from soft leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinach and also fruits, like mangos for instance. Take a look at the cron-o-meter which you can download or use online for free so you can track your mineral intake. Just make sure to consume enough soft leafy greens The 801010 diet book recommends from 2-6% of your total calories should come from leafy greens. Our calcium intake will vary a bit from day to day depending on exactly what we eat.

    what if you are sedentary because of health issues? I am not able to exercise, which is frustrating. I can’t even sit for very long. Does this mean even while doing this life style I am screwed with losing any weight? On nearly ANY diet at all, of course exercise is ALWAYS recommended, getting active. But what about for those who are disabled like I am or with other health issues that don’t allow them to exercise?

    I have been transitioning into 811 for the last week and a half. I’m finding it hard to eat 800 calories for breakfast. This morning, I only managed 400, and it was a struggle.     Just look out for most heavily sprayed fruits like apples, cherries, grapes, strawberries, nectarines, peaches etc. These need to be avoided if not organic. A search for sprayed fruits to avoid will give you a full list. So in short you can eat non organic fruit with less chemical residues, just be careful with what types of fruit you eat as some are worse than others (amount of chemical residues they have).
