I also incorporate rinsing my hair and leaving it in for 15 minutes before rinsing it out a few times a week with Raw Apple Cider Vinegar. It really leaves your hair so shinny and soft..

I have heard about the vinegar before also. Thanks for sharing.

I like to condition my hair with fresh avocado mix with my own home Made cold pressed olive oil. Also makes a great shaving cream to!!

Why is it okay to put oil on hair and skin but not in your mouth?

Perhaps you need only to eat more healthy fats.

You re not supposed to rub your ends! It can promote more split ends

Wonderful tips, thanks! I also don’t use shampoo, but instead of a soap, I use aluminum-free soda diluted in some water – approximately 3 Tbsp of soda per a jar of water.
Would you please tell me what is sesame oil good for the scalp? Thanks!

Marina, thanks for sharing. Do you use soda to wash or rinse your hair? Using oil benefits my hair from personal experience, although I don’t use it all over time as I simply forget sometimes ))

Hi dear! I use to wash and rinse with just water.

i wash my hair with clay or rye flour mixed with water made into paste. This is a very mild cleanse and may not be effective on hair that is used to harsher cleansers like shampoo and soap. I’ve been no-poo for 5 years and the flour works well. I wash once a week 🙂

    Yulia,
Have you noticed that your hair is thinner or experienced any hair loss with the diet? Love all your videos!

    •   Rawsomehealthy  |

Karen, thank you 🙂 Definitely no hair loss for as long as I eat enough carbs (which I do) and adhere to healthy living practices (i.e. sleep, exercise, hydration, stress management, etc).

I’m trying to ween off of natural shampoo. I’d like to be able to balance the oils on my scalp so I don’t have to wash daily (overwashing I know). I prefer not to wash my hair that often but walking around with greasy hair isn’t something I’m willing to do lol. Maybe I just need to practice going about my day with greasy day-after hair and JUST BE! 🙂

    That’s interesting, thanks for sharing!

Strange, but it really works for me – no split ends at all.

Could you talk about your hair removal method(s) please ? What do you think of laser, waxing, shaving… ? 🙂

  •   noxirixon  |

i just use water now for the most part .. occationally i use soda/natron (started with a bit lemon juice which decreases the ph and makes the salt a bit soapy)
