I turned to a high carb vegan diet 10 years ago in an effort to help me heal my PCOS, infertility and other major health problems and achieved amazing results. To do that, I had to find the right PCOS diet plan.
Not only did I reverse my infertility and give birth naturally to my young daughter Elanie, but I also reversed my PCOS and many other hormonal health problems and I have never looked back.
It all happened because I implemented the right PCOS diet plan.
Now PCOS is, unfortunately, a very common hormonal imbalance among many women.
Usually, it affects women in their 20s and 30s but we have worked with clients who have had PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) in their 40s.
One major problem with someone who has this hormone imbalance is that it affects their fertility.
So if you want to conceive naturally, then you really have to reverse your PCOS and this is what I faced myself before changing my nutrition plan and switching to a PCOS diet plan.
From the age of about 12 years old, my periods were irregular and very painful and I remember going to lots of different doctors trying to find an answer but without success.
I was told by my doctors to take different medications to help my irregular and painful periods, but these just made me feel very sick, so I could not take them for very long.
On top of all these health problems that I had to deal with, my doctor told me that my chances of ever conceiving naturally were at best slim, which was very upsetting to hear.
